ANNOUNCEMENTS

SCHOOL CLOSING/CHANGES:

If the School needs to close due to inclement weather or other emergency situations, notification will be done through various options: Telephone calls will be placed, a message will be recorded on the school answering machine, internet sites and local broadcasting stations will be notified and our Facebook status will be modified.

FUNDRAISERS:

Each month during our school year Dance Centre North's students collect money for a charity to be benefit childrfen. This year Charity For Children will be our recipriant.

CHARITY FOR CHILDREN, INC. (CFC):

CHARITY FOR CHILDREN is a registgered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing financial and educational services to needy families in Onondaga, Madison, Cayuga and Oswego counties with children who suffer from disabilities, diseases and disorders. Local community members formed the agency in 2004 to offer support to Central New York families that begins where other agencies typically end.

CHARITY FOR CHILDREN is not affiliated with or assocaited with any other health or human service agency.

CHARITY FOR CHILDREN will provide a wide array of services that include:

Treatment-related travel expenses (transportation, meals, lodging)
Financial assistance
Free Educational seminars
Advocacy and referral
Loan of durable medical equipment

Infant CPR Program

We offer them throughout the year on an ongoing basis. They are free of charge and open to the public. Anyone interested in attending should contact Nina at 701-1162

First Duds Program

Our First Duds Program launched in November 2005, CHARITY FOR
CHILDREN provides a set of new infant clothing to families in need. Clothing is distributed to area clinics and hospitals in Onondaga, Madison, Oswego and Cayuga counties. To date we have distributed over 100 First Duds to local hospitals and clinics.
